I was listening to Aisha Tyler’s podcast “Girl on Guy” earlier and she had Zachary Levi on as a guest. They were discussing a conversation Zach had with Zachary Quinto in which Quinto used the word “circuitous” as though everyone knows what it means. For reference, it means either to have a winding course or to speak in a way that is not direct or forthright. Sort of like if you spoke and explained something in a really roundabout way. I think, based on the definition I obtained from google. Anyway they came up with an idea to use “Quinto” as a verb when describing someone who just slips in an SAT word like that with no explanation as though everyone already knows what it means. I honestly found this hysterically funny and plan on using it as often as situations present themselves.
This is brilliant. ZQ approves.
